Very sadly we had to leave our farm stays in mid April. Thank you all for sharing your homes with us.

What a sad look Polly gave us, we really wanted to take her with us.

Sorting the grain from the chaff.

The sheep know how to keep the grass short.

Drew asked me to pick up a few twigs.

By the time I had finished, I had moved a few trees.

The comparison in size of the ride on mower and the sprayer.

He let me loose with the ride on mower,
but not the sprayer. I wonder why?,

A four foot visitor, quick JUMP!

On board Drew's Sprayer it uses a Gps tracking system.

So now I know why all these fields are so dead straight.

They grow huge sun flowers in these parts.

With a face on them!! Amazing.

To meet Polly, while smaller than Wally, just as friendly.

We travel up the road to another farm called Lochearn.

The fields are huge out here. Wide open spaces, all the way to the horizon.

Now that’s a good idea, Solar + wind turbines.

Bruce and Kay, take us up Mt Kaputar.

Sawn Rocks, look like Organ pipes.

We go for a drive. At least it had rained nearby.

A peaceful view from our temporary bedroom. WOW.

A talking Cockatoo.

There were 5 peacocks wandering around.

Sharon calls the chooks out for feeding.

A cow and calfs, keeps an eye on my progress.

My view of the road verge after I had trimmed it!

I start up the tractor and slasher.(Well I did Volunteer)

Another great sunset.

Checking the water windmill was all pumping OK.

My trusty mode of transport was a great Toyota.

The header needed a good clean out after the harvest.

So we had offered to feed the pets and keep an eye on Wally the guard dog
while Peg and Bruce had a well earned break.

We meet up with Peg and Bruce on their farm.

We update our internet access system.

There is lots of talent, that has passed this way.

With the Big names of John Williamson.

With the Big names of Leo Kernigan.

With the Big names of Keith Urban.

With the twangy sound of a guitars.

Think of Tamworth and you think of Slim Dusty.

Next stop overlooking Tamworth.

Mother nature makes a house call.

Sharon loves her close ups.
