Our Christmas Day hosts.

Mark, Genelle and the girls invited us into Heathers home for a rather
sumptuous dinner.

Breakfast on our Balcony.

Yes we had agreat day!!

It must be Christmas Day 2007.

We return to Berrima for Christmas 2007.

We had promised Mark and Genelle in their big bus,
that we would return to Berrima for Christmas.
They found this great spot at a disused cricket pitch,
organised a whipper snipper to cut the two foot long grass,
necessary to keep the snakes away and the scene was set.

Sharon finds the ultimate machine.

Yes you have guessed right, look at her smile,
you can make your own money with this instrument.
Sort of oval and therefore unique.

Canberra as the sun breaks through the clouds.

Black mountain tower.

Is ir really a Telstra transmitter? cause it looks like a space ship!!

This sculpture sits on the roof to guide all who are lost!

This is a very modern building.

There are 4700 offices with three levels of car parks,
sort of a rabbit warren really.

We enter the domain of decision making. Ha.Ha.

Our first sight of the New Parliament.

Old Parliament in Canberra.

Sharon gets friendly with a fellow traveller.

Hampton Bridge and a canal.

At last we are back to Nature.

Alpaca’s sort of before and after being clipped.

We visit a school fair.

I must admit, we are mixing with the local folks!!

So we went to another rest area.

About 6 klm down the road and would you believe it was
a starting spot for the local cyclists weekly race.

Look at the back of the photo, that’s me.

The local council closed the camp site down that’s been
available for over 30 years. We joined up with the couple
in front and went to a council meeting in protest.
Unfortunately two police and a council ranger turned up
and escorted us off the site and chained the entrance up.

We get a shock when they close it down!!!

We receive a greeting at the Berrima campground.

Freshly baked buns and pies, with a huge smile from the girls

A fond farewell to the Opera house.

The famous Bondi Beach.

Mono rail transport and revolving resturants.

We sample the harbour side ambience.

Jonathan keeps in touch with his work.

Notice his office space? Considering this was a stop over
for him on his way to New Zealand. What a lifestyle!

We check out the trains as sightseers.

A family portrait on a Sydney park bench.

Jonathan arrives in Sydney.

Sharon just had to phone him to make sure he was there!

The Observatory has a magic view.

Of the harbour Bridge and of the Heavens.

Art in The Rocks area.

Children’s art in the city square.

Boats of a very grand style.
